I asked for just one page knowing I’d be too busy to do a full five pages. I didn’t get a very exciting page to draw but at least it offered me some challenges.
PROGRESS: first page of Bartkira is inked, colored, and finished! Now onto the next ones…

Fuck Otomo
Bartkira, Volume 6, pages 321 to 325.
I think my favorite part of this project was trying to find a line between Otomo’s work and Groening’s cartoon style. I don’t think I nailed it, because I’m neither of those two talented people, but I’m happy with what I produced; something that looks like I drew.
The other challenge I enjoyed was taking iconic Simpsons landmarks, and designing how they’d be destroyed, as well as choosing which characters lucky enough to be running away from the blast.I put in a few hidden things here and there; places, characters, signs. Try to find ‘em!
